YouTube Report - April 2023
Here's my YouTube report for April of 2023 π
I'm thrilled with the growth of my main channel. One video, in particular, took off and led to all the growth. I didn't expect it to become popular, but I'm glad it did because I put quite a bit of effort into it.
Looking ahead, I'm excited to soon achieve monetization in May. There is an issue with my AdSense account. My old inactive account was linked to this YouTube channel and I canβt unlinked it. Right now, I am trying to solve this issue with both email and Twitter support.
I'm seriously considering ditching my second channel. Even though it takes up less time than my main one, it's still diverting my focus. I'll make a decision after I get monetization on the main channel.
π¬ Let's dive into the numbers.
πΊ Main channel:
π₯ I've published just two videos.
Growth:
β 22,400 views (+472%)
β 1,700 hours watch time (+680%)
β 143 new subscribers (+496%)
Engagement:
β 70 comments + 39 shares (vs 14 comments + 31 shares in March).
πΊ Second channel (different language)
π₯ Only one video was published.
Growth:
β 3700 views (-7%)
β 282 watch hours (+9%)
β 25 new subscribers (14%)
π° $1.80 revenue (this channel is in a non-monetizable market).
Engagement:
β 8 comments + 60 shares (vs to 17 + 46 in March).
The main goal for May is to consistently publish four videos throughout the month and figure out monetization. I'm really curious to see the current RPM for this channel.
