Some days just suck
…and that’s okay. If you find yourself in a day where everything seems to be falling apart and you feel like giving up, take a break. No matter your goals, obligations, or requirements, just take a pause and rest.
One day won’t change anything, but it might be the sign your body is telling you to take a break. Try to forget about anything and focus on yourself. What exactly do you need right now?
Maybe you just need to sleep it out, so go to sleep for 30 minutes or go to sleep early today. Maybe you just need to get some comfort. Take a "me" day and do something simple: walk outside, drink a warm tea, or sit without any stimulations or distractions. Don’t force yourself to do or think anything. Just let it be.
If you feel like it, try to make some small activities, very simple, or maybe something enjoyable. Maybe writing, drawing, or cleaning. If you find yourself like you’re not feeling or enjoying it, that’s okay too. Just rest.
It’s part of being human, and all of us feel this way from time to time. The most important thing is to acknowledge your feelings and give yourself a break from the world. Take care of yourself.
